- Answer This is indeed the M-XXL size. As for it working with the FT7, yes it will work with that. It will also sync with a fitness app on your smartphone that has a heart rate feature - Mike@PolarUSA

Questiondoes this keep a log of your HR data or does it show current rate only?My doctor recommended that I get a heart rate monitor that tracks and logs my HR data so that I can see what helps and doesn't help my POTS. I need one that I can view past data and see trends and not just my current HR. Does the Polar H7 allow for that? Does it depend on which app you have?

- Answer The H7 heart rate sensor does not record any data. That is dependent on the app (or watch) it is paired to. Polar's 'Beat' application for example records the heart rate data and allows for analysis after the exercise recording session. - Mike @ Polar USA

If MyZone has a heart rate feature part of their application and if it's running on a compatible phone, then yes, it will work. - Answer The H7 heart rate sensor communicates on the Bluetooth Smart transmission frequency. You'll need to confirm if the original Vivoactive has the ability to receive on that transmission protocol. - Mike@PolarUSA

- Answer No. The H7 communicates via Bluetooth Smart, so the old wrist watches won't read the signal. The upside is that the H7 has a user-serviceable battery, and there are a bunch of smart phone apps and exercise machines that will read and display the signal.

- Answer The H7 heart rate sensor uses a simple coin style battery for power. Replacing it requires nothing more than opening the battery compartment on the back of the sensor and replacing the old with the new. - Mike@PolarUSA
