QuestionWhat is the difference between the I type and regular film

- Answer Regular 600 film has a battery in the film packet that powers the camera. I-Type film doesn't have a battery in the film pack as new Polaroid OneStep cameras have an internal battery that powers the camera. Basically the Polaroid OneStep cameras can use both i-Type and 600 film, while older cameras can only use 600 film.

QuestionI am looking for more film. I see Color i-Type Film for $2 less if you buy that carton which says it has 16 photos. Will that pkg. fit in this camera or are you selling 2 pkgs. of 8 for that price?

- Answer All packs come with only 8. The package says 16 photos, but it contains 2 packs of 8

- Answer There's some wacky mods for that camera to use Instax film with 3d printed parts, but I don't think it can accommodate i-Type.

- Answer While SX-70 film is ideal for that camera, it should also accommodate 600 film but won't look the same. i-Type wouldn't work as far as I know.

- Answer This newer i-Type is mainly for their new cams and their printers. I would recommend looking up if anyone has tried it and if they say it did then maybe buy a single pack to test it. This new film has a different cartridge size and also fits 8 instead of 10 exposures.. so I wouldn't risk it.

- Answer Every pack of film is stamped with a production date, and we recommend using the film within 12 months of that date. Any film purchased at Best Buy will have been manufactured within the last couple of months so it will be very fresh.
