- Answer I use a computer with in a few feet of the speaker , and have had no problems .

- Answer I believe it is. It shouldn't be a problem unless you're using a CRT television. My PSW108 is about 18" from the bottom corner of my 55" LCD TV.

QuestionWe hooked it up to a brand new sony receiver on sunday and it worked fine. Turned on a movie last night and now no sound. Everything is the way we had it when we shut it off. What would cause it to have no sound? Just bought it on Saturday.

- Answer Not sure about your Sony receiver setup but my Pioneer receiver needs to be set up certain way to pair the speaker with the subwoofer. You might want to google the correct set up for your receiver.

QuestionI just connected my Denon AVR-S740H to my Polk PSW108 subs using an Insignia 3.5mm Mini to RCA stereo audio cable. I get no audio from the subs but a loud humming instead. With power to the subs from any source and no audio cables there is no hum. Why?

- Answer This has Left and Right speaker level inputs, as well as Left and Right RCA jacks. Your receiver probably has one or two RCA jacks for subwoofer output. Mine has two, so I used both to hook up L+R, but it's not necessary since the subwoofer channel is mono (except for 5.2 or 7.2 setups)
