“Is the power from a Samsung 32" series 5 (503) tv enough to drive these speakers, or must there be an amplifier?”

• Yes you will need an amplifier. The type of speakers in your tv require minimal wattage to just get them to move whereas these would hardly put any sound out & IF they did I would sound terrible and not be worth the investment. Bite the bullet and invest in a descent surround system, you'll be glad you did!

• You will need to run these speakers with an amplified signal...with wire. Ideally in-wall jacketed wire. I tend to use a 14ga or 16ga wire.
