QuestionRecently bought the Polk Signa S3 there is no sound coming from the device or Samsung Tv using HDMI and Optical .. also sound is randomly only coming from the subwoofer which is extremely muffled if there is sound

- Answer I had the S2 and no problem because there was only an optical option. With the S3, I had the same problem. I cannot see "HDMI" has my source. I did what was written in the instruction booklet. I plugged my HDMI cable in the bar and in the "ARC" Hdmi on my tv, and then plugged the optical cable. The optical works now. If there is still a problem you can use the bluetooth source (if your tv is intelligent)

Questiondo the TV speakers have to be turned off? i.e. to avoid feedback The JBL recommends using only the soundbar/ sub. that seems counter to the ideal of "enhancing" TV sound.

- Answer Yes it is recommended to shut off the TV speakers to avoid a possible echo. Some TVs will only output audio once the TV speakers are shut off. Keeping the TV speakers on (after adding a sound bar) will only downgrade the overall sound quality.

- Answer Additional speakers cannot be use with the Signa s2 soundbar. Polk React and Magnifi 2 soundbars are compatible with the optional SR2 wireless surround speakers.

QuestionI hooked up signa s2 Sony Bravia 2010 model KDL-46EX400 went through program steps and hooked into hdmi space there is no sound. There is 2 lights on sounbar did I do something wrong it says switched to external speakers with no sound . What do I do?

- Answer Did you put the HDMI that is going to tv on the HDMI port that says ARC? Connect one end of a high quality, high-speed HDMI® cable to the TV Out ARC connection of the receiver. Note: Low quality cables that are not labeled high-speed won't be able to provide the ARC function. High-Speed HDMI cable.... Set the Control for HDMI setting on the TV to ON. On the TV remote control, press the Home or Menu button. Select Settings or Setup Select HDMI. Select Control for HDMI. Select ON.

- Answer Well, there are lots of variables here. Like, how is your soundbar connected to your TV? Optical? Hdmi ARC? Non-ARC hdmi? Ideally, I would make sure it is connected via the hdmi ARC. That port is specifically designed for sound systems. ( audio return channel) Then make sure your sound settings include your soundbar.

QuestionI own one of these. I’m about to upgrade to a 50” LG and I’m gonna move my 4K player in here as well. It plays every 4K movie I have but Robin Hood uses dts x. Willy my signa 2 decide that or will there be no sound?

- Answer Un plug and re plug everything, connect your blue tooth for the bar through your phone. Use the remote for the bar to adjust the sound. Ensure your HDMI cord is connected to the HDMI slot on your tv.

- Answer The bar and subwoofer both have outlets. The subwoofer turns itself on/off when the soundbar is turned on or turned off via remote or when you turn your tv off (its synced together).

QuestionIf I connect this to a Samsung Series 8 tv, will it automatically power on when the TV is powered on? I really do not want to have to power up one one remote and then run the TV remote. I wouldn't buy a sound bar if that was the case.

QuestionHave an audio lag problem which I have not been able to resolve. Have new 4k Samsung 65 inch TV and a Polk S2 sound bar. The TV does have an audio lag adjustment in its advanced settings but using it has not fully resolved the audio to video lag. Help
