A:Answer It definitely could. If your a stickler for the logo being sideways is the only downside. Speakers work fine as long as they are pointed at the person wanting to listen to them correctly. So horizontal/vertical not really the issue. Is it behind a table or obstructions getting between you and the speaker is more of an issue usually. Second issue, have you used the tech on your reciever to adjust the speaker correctly? Many modern recievers come with a microphone, use it, learn how to set the reciever up for optimal sound. Those two things will do more to correct a bad sounding speaker than orientation of the speaker. The rest is often such a small influence on sound quality that only extreme audiophile's will get all worked up about it. But for 95+% of us you will not be able to discern the performance change as long as the speaker is positioned correctly as in nothing between you and the speaker and your receiver is adjusted correctly. By the way, nice speaker for the money. I have this one in a bedroom. Don't get me wrong, I love my Definitive Technologies stuff in my Family and Living rooms but often you do not need thousands of dollars in speakers to have a decent sounding system.
