I have it mounted on my Heritage Softail Classic. No issues. You could add some rubber bands if you are concerned. I have the Stage 2 kit and although the engine is counter balanced, there is is vibration. I don't know about other engine types with more vibration. There is an adjustment that locks the angle of the phone. There are several pieces to mount the holder on the handlebar.
