Yes, it does have a HDMI input, and it works as a regular HDMI, and also has MHL capability. If you stick a Miracast dongle into the HDMI, then you can cast your phone to the device. I own this TV, it was cool while it lasted, which was about 1 year of light use...

Hello Deamon, The Power Acoustik ceiling mount monitor / DVD player Model: PMD-143H has an input terminal that looks like an HDMI terminal, however this is the MHL input in order to "Mirror" your phone to the screen. The cable needed is an optional device from the main unit.
