A: Hello Kial, I believe that most, if not all the Best Buy stores offer installation for the mobile electronics products that they sell. They are called "The Geek Squad", and may even come to your home to perform the installation for you. You will need to contact your local Best Buy to confirm the mobile installation availability.
Q: Can I use this to stream movies from my iPhone?
A: The PMD-143H has an MHL, (Mobile Link), input function that should accept the video data from your iPhone when you buy the optional MHL link cable to connect the phone to the unit. The only movie data that will not be transferred is from any "Pay Per View" system such as Netflix.

A: Hello D.J., At this time the LCD, (Liquid Crystal Diode), screed will not support the 1080p resolution of a Blue Ray DVD. As such the DVD player in the unit will only support standard DVD's with 720p or less resolution.

A: Yes, it does have a HDMI input, and it works as a regular HDMI, and also has MHL capability. If you stick a Miracast dongle into the HDMI, then you can cast your phone to the device. I own this TV, it was cool while it lasted, which was about 1 year of light use...
Q: So it states it connects to phones. So you can stream movies on it ?? Is this correct
A: Yes, you can, sorta... It's designed to use a MHL connection, which is a WIRED connection... If you want to be able to cast a movie from your phone to this TV WIRELESSLY, then you will also need to buy a Miracast dongle and plug it in to the HDMI port on this TV. They do sell similar Overhead TV's that come equipped Miracast built in... This is actually a very old model... This same unit is sold by a few different manufacturers, including Power Acoustic and Soundstream.
