• A:Answer This Infra Red Signal headphone kit comes with an "Analog to IR" Converter / Transmitter that will need to be integrated into the speaker system of the vehicle with a "High to Low Level" converter. The High to Low Level converter can be wired into either the front or rear outputs of the radio in the vehicle.

• A:Answer Hello "Lumpy", According to the owner's manual for the 2003 Chevy Tahoe, the rear seat entertainment center does transmit an "IR", (Infra Red), audio signal to the O.E.M. headphones, and as long as the transmitted signal is between 2.3 MHz and 3.8 MHz, then the Power Acoustik headphones in this add should work.
