A:AnswerThe battery fits the controller. The battery cover does not fit the controller. The tabs that hold the cover into the controller were moved. I cut the tabs off when I figured it out and made it work that way. There is a third tab that slides over the battery itself that I have used to hold the cover in place and it has worked relatively well for a cheap fix.
A:AnswerIf you’re referring to Xbox one and Xbox one x having comparability, then yes. The controllers are the same. Series x is another story as I don’t have one. I believe it should work since it attaches to the battery compartment and that should not change size.
A:AnswerBased on some research, the battery may be bad. I’ve only had mind for about 18 months but there were times when I didn’t play for months because school. If they’re left in the charger for long periods after the charge is complete it can diminish the life span of the battery. Also these batteries have a certain amount of charges in them so if you play regularly and constantly need a charge, it would then effect he lifespan of the battery as well.
A:AnswerI don’t know if it will help but, I’ve found that you really have to make sure the battery is aligned to charge. Sometimes it looks like it’s set on there right but, I have to “jiggle the handle” to get the charge.
Good luck.
