• Cool no. But will protect tv from sun damaging screen. I’ve heard if you leave tv exposed to the sun can damage The coating on the screen. For full shade sunbrite tv

• Hi JB, No, it will not keep the TV cool when exposed to direct sun. It's designed to keep the TV clean (protect from dust, etc.) Thanks!
