• There is one fixed shelf in the center of on one side, but all the rest of the shelves (13) are fully adjustable and can be positioned to hold an assortment of media types (CDs, DVDs, games). So you could have all DVDs on one side, all CDs on the other side, or a combination of both on each side.

• There is only one fixed shelf on one side of the unit. All other selves are adjustable.

• They can be adjusted to different heights on each side. One side has a stationary shelf for support. Other than that, its really easy to change the shelf height.
