Sunshine Thanks for your question! Although a paid iFIT membership is not required to use this unit, a free 30-day trial is included with your purchase. When activated, iFIT provides an immersive fitness experience. You’re able to exercise all over the world, as your equipment auto adjusts to the terrain and trainer-led workouts. If you prefer not to use the free iFIT membership, simply follow the prompts on your machine to use manual mode. Unlocking a bluetooth machine is not bypassing iFIT, it’s simply unlocking the machine for use. Press and hold the iFIT/bluetooth button for 45 seconds until a beep is heard and zeros show on the screen (this unlocks the machine). This only needs to be done once.
