Yes, it has a magnet (also known as the ‘key’) that has a string attached. If the key comes disconnected, the machines stops.

In the user manual found here: assets.academy.com/mgen/64/10772964.pdf on page 21 there’s a picture that references this safety pull. As quoted there: “In an emergency, the key can be pulled from the console, causing the walking belt to slow to a stop.” Further instructions are provided there.
