- Answer Yes. It's important to note that the length of time from turning the machine on to getting to the manual mode is long. It also asks you to sign into your iFit account each time, further lengthening the process to get to the manual mode.

QuestionWHAT IS THE DIFFERNECE BETWEEN THIS ONE AND THE PROFORM 9000? IS THE 22 INCH SCREEN AND 3.6HP ON 9000 IS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE. IS THIS MODEL DISCONTUNED? ON BESTBUY'S SPECS, PF5000 MOTOR SAYS 3.25HP, BUT SOMONEMONE CONFIRMED, 3.5 IS THIS CORRECT?

QuestionWhat year model is this? I am getting a bit confused with the pro5000 and smart pro 5000. Also is this model being advertised an upgrade to the pro 2000?

- Answer mike560 We manufacture many makes and models of treadmills every year. They each have similarities and differences. This model of the Pro 5000 is a 2020. The Pro 2000 is also from 2020. We believe the Smart Pro 5000 you are referencing is from 2016. No matter the year they were first released, each piece of equipment has a warranty and is designed for optimum use. The biggest difference between these models is the console. The Smart Pro 5000 does not have a touchscreen. Instead, it features buttons and a back-lit digital display along with an attached tablet with touchscreen for iFIT syncopation. The Pro 2000 and Pro 5000 have integrated touchscreens. The Pro 5000 has a larger screen. The equipment for these models are roughly identical in size and capabilities. Let us know if we can give you more information by emailing us at [email protected]. QuestionHow tall is the running deck from the floor? I have very low basement ceilings so am trying to find a treadmill where the running deck is lower to the ground.

- Answer The top of the decks are approximately 1 foot from the ground. Ceilings should be of 8 feet to have the incline at its highest level.

QuestionI see from some answers to questions that there is an optional tablet holder. I've googled it and can't find where to buy. Alternately, I can buy a generic one but I need to know how thick the screen is to know if this one from amazon will fit. Help?!

QuestionIs 110V 20A breaker enough for this machine? I'm calculating 3.5HP to draw about 2,610W which would go over 20A? So, 20A breaker would trip if running the machine at peak, correct? Sorry, not an electrician but trying to make sense of the power required.

QuestionDoes the touchscreen tilt or pivot? It mentions this in the description, but I can't find any instructions in the manual. It seems like the screen moves a little bit if I press lightly on the edges, but afraid it's not supposed to. Thanks!

Without a WiFi connection, you will not be able to use iFit workouts and other select features on the console but the basic manual features on the treadmill will still work as designed. QuestionI am thinking about buying this treadmill, but I read that in 2021 roller size is down to 1.9 inches and belt is only 1-ply. That seems worse than cheaper models like Sole 63 (2.5 inch rollers and 2-ply belt). Is there something I'm missing? Thanks.

- Answer Runner The roller size of a treadmill comes in many sizes - keeping the roller around 2 inches makes the treadmill last longer. This treadmill’s roller size is indeed 1.9 inches. Our maintenance-free tread belts feature a spray-on lubricant that will last for 200 hours of activity. Our tread melts also have metallic fibers woven into the belt to dissipate static buildup. - Answer I bought a Proform5000, Models keep changing as and when they are upgraded I would suggest to pay attention to the features you would like to have in your purchase I wanted a cushion belt to go easy on my knees, the incline %, the width of the belt Hope that helps

- Answer In my experience it depended on the brand of headphones and type. My Galaxy buds plus won't show up in the menu to link to the treadmill but my J labs in ear headphones synced just fine.

QuestionSince the screen does not power off on its own is it best to power down the machine after each use ? Will that preserve the machine in the long run or preserve the screen ?

- Answer Isld We recommend using a surge suppressor with this equipment to decrease the risk of damage to the treadmill in case of a power surge. The on/off switch does have a “Tripped” indication where the switch protrudes and would need to be reset before powering on again. Powering off each time is a good way to protect and save your machine. You can even switch off the surge suppressor, but this is not required. For more information, email us at [email protected]. QuestionDoes this treadmill have the EKG Grip Pulse Heart Rate Sensor? It says it does in the description, but the pictures don't show the grip sensor.

QuestionWhat date was this specific model manufactured? I ask this because I only see this specific model for sale here on Best Buy and at Dick’s. All other site along with the ProForm site only advertise the ProForm SMART Pro 5000.

- Answer The touch screen can only be used for iFit activities. The only external media that is compatible with the treadmill is Bluetooth audio, where you can pair your phone with your treadmill and play whatever music, podcasts, or audiobooks you're currently listening to.

QuestionMy treadmill’s speed is off. I’ll set the speed to 3 but it is actually running at 3.4. I can’t find a way to calibrate it. The technician adjusted something when he installed a new motor to try to correct it but phone support doesn’t know what that was
