QuestionWhich surge protector should I get? I can’t find any with the specifications required in the manual

- Answer Isld The specifications described on page 17 indicate that the suppressor must have UL 1449 listed as a transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS). Keep in mind the UL suppressed rating can be less than 400 volts. This is the maximum number. Also as you look for a suppressor, 450 joules is the minimum surge dissipation required. If this number is higher, this is good. 120 volts AC and 15 amps is pretty standard for surge protectors. A suppressor meeting these requirements can be found on Amazon, or at your local hardware store. If you are still unable to find a surge protector, you can call us at 888-533-1333 to purchase it directly from us. QuestionIf the Pro2000 is the newer model of the Pro 5000, why is the screen smaller? Is that the only basic difference between the two models?

- Answer Annie The Pro2000 (model #PETL17818) and Pro 5000 have two different console bases and frame widths/styles. The Pro 5000 has double the WiFi access (MP14 instead of MP7) and a smaller product footprint measurement overall, lowering the step-up height by almost a full inch. QuestionHi, Looking at this treadmill and associated reviews, they all say this model has a 3.5 HP motor, yet Best Buy is the only site that lists it as 3..25 HP. Are you able to confirm, is this accurate? Are the Pro 5000 and SMART Pro 5000 the same treadmill?

- Answer Meticulous We are impressed with your research. Great username choice! ;) Our product specifications on this treadmill model state 3.25 continuous horsepower. Please understand that the term “CHP” or continuous horsepower is measured in a lab testing using a dynamometer to measure mechanical power and that the CHP rating does not denote the operational horsepower of a treadmill in ordinary household use. The SMART Pro 5000 is an older model from 2016 that is no longer manufactured. Though it may have similarities, it is not the same treadmill. QuestionI've read over everything on the BestBuy website, but I don't see if this machine comes with a safety pull that will shut the machine off in case of a fall (assuming you're attached to the pull string). Could you please verify this for me. Thank you,

- Answer Yes, it has a magnet (also known as the ‘key’) that has a string attached. If the key comes disconnected, the machines stops.

QuestionWhat size doorway is required to bring the treadmill inside the house?

- Answer You need a 36" doorway to easily fit the box on a hand truck. In my case because the door to my garage could not open completely, that space was reduced to 33 and one quarter inches. The box was rubbing both sides and just barely squeezed through that opening. Any thing smaller would require multiple people so you could carry the box tipped on edge. Very heavy.

QuestionI just had my proform 5000 delivered & installed. Does the touch screen go dormant after use? Mine is always on so I dont know if this is by design or if it can go into sleep mode- black screen like a lap top.

QuestionWhat is the actual screen size? The description states 14in. And pics look possible. But all other descriptions and reviews state 10in. It’s hard to follow accurate sizes with the constant changes. No other ProForm has larger than 10 until you skip to 22.
