Thank you for your question. We will request an update to occur on this product page to better indicate accuracy. ProForm has discontinued the inclusion of EKG heart rate monitors in handles and grips on their equipment as we have found that the heart rate monitor information is more accurately given to the system through Bluetooth wearable devices.
