Q: QuestionDoes the drone require to be connected to Wifi in order to work?

• A:Answer The drone does not require wifi in order to work. Well, sort of. It's complicated. You can operate the drone using the joystick alone using a normal radio frequency. However, if you want to connect the Dronium 3x to your phone, you will need to download the app, which I believe works with both Apple and Android. Once the joystick, app, and drone are all on, the drone will actually produce its own wifi signal and you will then see a live feed from the drone's camera on your smart phone. You can also use the app to control the drone, instead of using the joystick using the same wifi signal. If you have VR goggles, you can also have a live VR feed of everything your drone camera sees with very little lag.

• A:Answer It is very lightweight and small, so yes wind currents can easily push it a bit in one direction or the other despite giving it full throttle to counteract that. Especially when you get it up higher. But, the best thing to do in a windy situation is to lower it down.

Q: QuestionMy drone had a bad incident. One of the rotors with supporting motor does not rotate, . The rotor rotates freely so the transmission is shot. Is there a parts list which lists an electoral motor to purchase?

• A:Answer I think your answer depends on what he intends to use it for. This would be a fun drone for anyone, but the quality of the photos the built-in camera produces would probably be sub-par for a photographer. The camera shoots in 720p, HD according to the website. This is definitely better resolution than most other drones at this price point, but still not professional level. There are a few drones out there that come with mounts to attach a go-pro, or something similar. That may be a better option if he is looking to take quality aerial photographs. Otherwise, a drone with a professional grade built in camera could easily cost as much as a grand or more. Now, if he's just looking to have a good time and take some decent ariel photos/videos for fun, I think this would be fine. That's just my take.

• A:Answer It should. You just need to download the app and then connect to the WiFi name the drone gives off. Once you connect to the drone it should be good to go.
