Q: QuestionI understand that anti-microbial humidifiers such as this require less cleaning to avoid mold. Is this true? Will you please let me know how this unit needs to be cleaned and how often? Thank you!

• A:Answer This unit needs to cleaned often to prevent any buildup. Anytime you fill the unit with water you need to clean it to prevent buildup. I was disappointed with this unit and would not recommend. I previously had an Air Innovations humidifier and will be going back to that brand.
