A:Answeri just replaced the filter on mine 4 weeks ago & i didn't have any problems. Did you run about a gallon or 2 of water through through the system 1st & dispose of it? try running water out of it for about 3 minutes. This helps to flush it out.

Their website has a list of all the brands they accept (e.g. the common ones like PUR & Brita) as well as all refrigerator water filters. They'll take pretty much anything.
