Q: QuestionCan the monitor ether be hard wired or can the cigarette lighter plug be changed to a usb so I don't have to use the only power source in the car? I have a dual usb connector for phone. Thanks!

• A:Answer Thanks for the answer. Pyles, the manufacturer said I could actually buy a DC to USB plug on line to replace the power cord. I realized after I started the chat that I could plug the cigarette lighter plug in, back up and then pull it out since the only time I’ll use the camera is when backing up! Duh
