What is the max capacity of storage? null

The maximum capacity is determined by the size of the drives you put in the bays.

Well theoretically the max if you stripe 6 * 8TB (not sure if it supports 10TB, they weren't available when I was buying for a reasonable price) would be about 46TB after formatting. A safer way to hold the date would be to mirror 3 x 3 sets of drives RAID 10 which would give you about 17TB. Mine has 4 * 6TB drives in RAID 5 for about 19TB useable with an external drive backing up compressed additionally. It can do a lot of useful things. Read on the qnap site.
