NO! Data base opens after subscription ends, but you can’t use Quicken Program for new entries or reports once subscription ends. Sorry. I have updated program every two years forever, but am rethinking using this program.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The program will continue to function in a manual mode only. Basically that means there will no longer be any internet connectivity. You will not be able to download transactions from your bank or credit card accounts or be able to use the mobile app. You will be able to manually enter your transactions and run reports but not much more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well since quicken was sold by intuit software several years ago it lost all its intuitive updates its been a stagnant product. Now they throw subscription into the picture. I’ve used this product faithfully for well over 15 years maybe since it came out. I just don’t remember so 15 plus is a underestimate. Anyway the subscription entitles you to download and as it expires the down loads will stop. I tired of fixing my downloads, fixing my logging access code security questions and how pictures with a bus and store front and crosswalks do you push before you close it down AGAIN, Moneydance seems to be the only “software” you can install with out subscription or having it be a web access tool that allows you input and download transactions like the old “INTUIT” quicken. Where’s the Tylenol..

The ability to sync Quicken from your computer to your mobile device is time-limited and does require buying update. If you don't plan to use this feature, then it will continue working indefinitely.

Please try again later.Mthead2 has the best answer, With out a valid member subscription the program will still function, you will have access to your data, but will only be able to manually key in any new data. Any download or import function will not work. Any feature that requires the internet will not work. All other features should and as I understand any export function should work giving the user the ability to move to another program. Quicken has always been iffy with it's downloads anyway. The new owners have improved it, but it's still not perfect. All that said, in my opinion it's still probably the best option for most people.
