Older versions of Quicken do not require internet access, but you will be prompted repeatedly to connect for updates. You must select "manual" setup of the bank account when you first activate the program.

If you permit this you would have to enter your credentials, user names and passwords, into the Quicken permission fields you use for each of those payment web sites. I use Quicken to check and update balance and payment dates. I would love Quicken to make electronic payments for me however I have not found that option. To more specifically answer your question there is a ‘Manual, Bill Entry option that is easily visible that needs no information of who, to who or for who accounting. In this ‘Manual Bill Entry Field’ you are able to enter to whom amounts and bill dates line by line to be a reminder for you. You are able to also manually enter the amounts of your checking, savings and cash on hand accounts without bank information or account numbers. I have used Quicken for years and love the software. Quicken will never automatically pay your bills. You will need Internet as Quicken is no longer a stand alone purchasable software. Quicken is now an annual or biannual subscription like Microsoft office became a few years ago. You will need the Internet to permit the use of the software as well as updates.
