It’s set up to work with up to 4 sensors as well as well your local weather station of your choice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its un-necessary to use the rain sensor. It makes use of local weather stations that you get to choose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sensor is not necessary as the system takes info from local weather station . . . and there are more in your area than you think. The system will look for all in your area and let you choose which one to associate with . . . and you can change the station for another one later. Pretty cool!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The system allows you to hook up a sensor - it can use both a sensor and weather data from the ibternet. It does require wifi no matter how you use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work with a rain sensor but it also uses your weather conditions to adjust watering.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No need for a rain sensor. You can choose the nearest weather channel in your area. Enable the feature during configuration and it will check on that weather channel.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although you can connect a rain sensor, you'd be better off just removing it and relying instead on the weather forecasting capability of the Rachio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It really is not necessary but it does have 4-5 wire slots for rain sensors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Rain sensor will work. Not entirely necessary, but I hooked it up anyway on mine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello and thank you for reaching out! We are compatible with several wired and wireless rain sensors, you can check your compatibility here: http://support.rachio.com/article/217-rain-sensors While we are compatible with several rain sensors, they are not required. We use Weather Intelligence by syncing with a nearby weather station and skipping your watering as needed. You can see more information on Weather Intelligence here: http://support.rachio.com/article/284-weather-intelligence-watersmart If you have any other questions, send us a message at [email protected] and we'll be happy to help!
