• Requires wiring into vehicle electrical. All connectors to do so are included. Water resistance to rain, car wash.

• The unit is waterproof. As far as power to the camera, you connect the unit to your vehicle wiring. You should track down a wire that will power up and down with the ignition switch. If you don’t have wire testers and some electrical knowledge, it would be best to have it installed by a professional.

• It is water proof. No battery. Need to be wired to reverse light. Works great.
