A:Answer Well, it's a hard pad-- the surface is hard plastic, with a matt finish. I don't think you'll need to wash it, because it wouldn't seem to absorb liquids- even sweat would probably not stick. If it did need cleaning, I would just use a cloth- but with only a trace of liquid on it.
