how do you connect the headset to windows 10 null

You will need to download razer synapse if you want to have the 7.1 sound. Otherwise windows will automatically pick them up and install drivers. http://www.razerzone.com/synapse/

sitvk the usb in and go to "connected device settings", click printers an scanners, scroll down, click device manager, in device manager, scroll untill you see headsets or earphones etc and it sould be there...

You just plug in. Register the product through either using Razer Synapse or through Razer website. They then give you prompt to download Srround Sound 7.1 software to also improve sound even more. But to answer your question - go to Control Panel. Look for Sound (icon). Click on it. You have tabs for sound, recording, etc. Look under sound. Find the Razer headphone. Right click on it. Set as default. The key is to make this the default. If you want it to be the default microphone click on the Recording tab at top and do same steps. Find Razer Chroma and right click and choose set as default. It is that simple.
