• It works! I use daily on my PS4 the mic is retractable and has a little button on the side of mic to mute

• Not sure about PS4. These require a USB port to connect. From my understanding the PS4 controller only have 3.5mm port for headsets. No, the mic doesn't mute itself automatically when retraced, there's a mute button on the mic that you press to mute and un mute. There's a light that lights up red when muted.

• They do work with the ps4 but you aren't able to change the color scheme of the headset w/o the software
