• I have it hooked up with a 3.5mm cable and it stays on unless I power it off.

• I haven't experienced any cutting out or "sleep" mode when connected to 3.5. The Blue Tooth mode maybe different. I haven't tried syncing it up via BlueTooth yet. But I had heard the same rumors. But if you are using 3.5mm connectors you are solid.

• Mine stays on all the time. Hooked up via 3.5mm to my computer and obviously on the aux input.
