A:AnswerYes, it is a mechanical keyboard that has a unique combination of tactile key switches combined with a membrane below to soften the keystrokes when your fingers bottom out at the end of each stroke. The clicky key switches are fairly quiet compared to most other tactile, clicky key switches like the Cherry MX greens or blues. You will feel the tactile feedback and then notice your keystrokes landing softly. I quite enjoyed typing on it.
A:Answeryes its spill proof you dont have to worry about food and drink falling into the keyboard. It is easy to clean if you do.....they keys are easy to remove and just wipe it away
A:AnswerYes, too much so for my liking. It makes for an impressive light display when you have it set up the way you want it but there is so much light that bleeds up and around the keys that it pretty much obliterates the lighted characters and numbers on top of the keys. I suggest you go directly to Razer's web site and search for this specific keyboard. Watch some of the videos. They are impressive.
