• I'm a U-Verse subscriber. The company that did my home audio install programmed the remote for me, and I've been able to use it for my On-Demand functions. In fact, I never have to use my U-Verse remote for any functions.

• Yes, once the remote is programmed to your TV, you can access Menu, Guide, On-Demand, etc. options from your cable box with the Logitech remote.
