Yes, you can use both, but there are no guarantees on what additional channels you will be able to pick up reception on with the added antenna. Do an internet search for greater clarity on how this would work. You'd use your same remote as you do now and just rescan the channels from your tv's menu.

Additionally be aware of the physical mileage between yourself and the broadcast channels you want to watch. Different antennas have different signal mileage that they support . So check the antennas app to see the channels you want and their physical distance from you to be sure you get what you need.
