“I bought 3 of these. I'm using 2 and the 3rd one I gave to my son; who only gets 2 channels. I get over 40 We both live in Chicago and only about 10 miles from the "Loop." Moving the antenna around doesn't help at all even though it's in a window. Why?”

If there are taller buildings in the area where you live, they will block and toss the signal around. Digital signals are blocked easily and even passing cars will scramble the signal until they leave the area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A couple of things: 1) Is the amp on? (small red LED at the front lit). 2) Are the rabbit ears extended? Otherwise it is possible that you are in a very high signal area or there is signal masking from the house, buildings, etc. You may need a roof mount antenna.
