I have one of these antennas in my basement and it work good. Just move it around to a good location and position it where you can get the best signal and boom, you in busy. I thought it wouldn't work but it did.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on how close the stations are. For a given signal, a higher antenna will do better - and a basement is as low as you can get. If the signals are very strong, this relatively small antenna might work in a basement. But if the signals are weak, you might need a bigger antenna in the basement - or some extra coaxial cable and a connector to allow you to have the antenna upstairs, even though the TV is in the basement. But with the last solution you may go nuts running up and down the stairs to adjust the antenna for particular channels.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does, that is where I have mine. Although it probably works better on the main floor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Possibly-- it all depends on how thick your walls are and the location/strength of the TV station transmitters.
