QuestionI just purchased a new 32" Sony TV -- since I do not use cable or have a dish, I purchased the RCA "inside" antenna. My question is -- will the same antenna work on an older Sony TV, also 32" I bought in 2009? Thank you.

- Answer Hello - Absolutely, your RCA indoor antenna should be able to function seamlessly with your older 32" Sony TV from 2009. Please do make sure that your TV has a built-in digital ATSC tuner, which became common in most TVs produced after 2007. If your older Sony TV doesn't have one, you'll require a digital converter box. For confirmation, I would recommend referring to your TV's owner's manual, ensuring the tuner mentioned is ATSC, not the obsolete NTSC. After connecting the antenna, don't forget to perform a "channel scan" through your TV menu settings. Have a great time enjoying your new RCA antenna!

- Answer Hello Morty - The antennas is designed to received both UHF and VHF signals. The signal strength from the broadcast tower at your particular location is the single most important factor on whether or not an antenna can receive a signal.

- Answer Yes, if your in the right area and it will pick up the signal. I'm in the middle of nowhere and got 8. I never had or used Dish, if its a smart tv yes, if not I don't know. Google antennas there are several websites you put your address in they will tell you what channels you can get with what antenna.

- Answer Two of my TVs are not close enough to hang in a window. I placed the antenna on the wall above the TV trying it in several locations to receive the most channels.. The TV that was close enough to a window received more channels hanging the antenna above the window. I tried locating the antenna in the window but received more channels locating the antenna above the window. Download the RCA App , RCA Signal Finder to direct the antenna in the best direction for your area, very simple to use as well

Questionif i lay this antenna on its back, will if have better reception in a bad area. i live in an area where the reception where i only get 8 t0 10 channels in an area the web sight says i should be receiving 35 to 40 channels.
