Q: QuestionCan you answer the phone by just pushing the Speaker button, or do you need to raise the handset first?

• A:Answer You can answer the phone by just pushing the speaker button. Alternatively, you can use the speakerphone button, and mid conversation, pick up the handset and keep going. Or, start on the handset, hit the speakerphone button, hang up the handset and finish the conversation that way also.

• A:Answer No, not built into it directly. You can spend $5 per month with the local phone company to add the service on, or buy a separate, free-standing voicemail machine.
