It is capable enough to handle light music production but i'd look more into audio interfaces that're tailored to music

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely can be used for music production. It also has built in recording for using it without a computer so you can record sessions with less stuff to carry. Only caveat is how many inputs you need, procaster ii has more inputs if you need them
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can use it for music. But the effects and tone adjustments are embedded in software menus which would make adjustments on the fly unwieldy. I think a more traditional mixer would be better for multitrack music recording. A Mackie ProFX mixer would be better.
