• I am not able to answer tour first question. To answer your second question though, I use these as computer speakers. I listen to a lot of music The bass is actually pretty good for 4 inch speakers. I also watch some Netflix and I find that it is often difficult to make out what people are saying. I don’t think I would recommend these to use as tv speakers even though they are marketed that way.

• I’m pretty sure they will. I have a 6-7 year old 55 Samsung smart TV and they will work with it. Ultimately it depends on the output options of your TV, matching with the input options of the speakers.
