“On the klipsch website they list that these have a built in phono pre-amp as well but here that isn't listed. Can anybody confirm the preamp? Or will I still need a preamp between my turntable and these?”

Yes it comes with phono pre-amp for turntable. Just connect to RCA input.

Yes there is a phono pre amp. The RCA input is switchable between line level and phono.

These have phono preamp built in, you won’t have to buy anything separate. I currently have them direct out from my record player.
