• To turn the unit on press in the power button and slide up.

• I believe it did get charged but when we started using, it lost its charge sooner than expected

• Make sure the yellow/green light comes on when it is on the base. If it's not, try repositioning the device on the cradle. You need to make sure it's seated properly.
