A:AnswerI don't know if it will work with that model. I bought it for a 20 inch model and there was no programming required. I put batteries in it and it worked. Since this was for someone in a care facility, I also bought a universal remote and programmed that to her TV and the universal works well too.

It says in the specifications that it is not compatible with any TV/DVD models. That just means THIS ONE is not compatible. They may have another one that IS compatible. Look in your owners manual for getting a replacement control and you may find useful information or even a hotline you can call. Insignia is a Best Buy brand and my guess is they want to support you, so there probably is a replacement available, just not this one. Hope this helps.

A:AnswerAt the Insignia Website the remote recommended for my TV was the -14. But I am using this one -16 and it works perfectly with two Insignia TVs I have at home. One is a Roku TV and the other one is a very old TV DVD combo.

We have bought 2 of these remotes for our Insignia Tv's. They do not come with a manual. They only work on Insignia Tv's. You put the batteries in and point it at the Tv. That is what we did. Hope this helps.
