A:Answer I had a device very similar to this one, only it was 10,000mAh solar charge battery pack. I was able to charge my iPhone with a full charge of the pack, and after a recharge was able to charge my iPad 4 ,(10 inch Retina display) half way. Of course the iPad has a much larger battery and usage requirements. I expected less of a charge, but, while camping it is a perfect type of device for simple needs such as that. Don't expect to charge a laptop or something large like that. But, it did the job I needed. Hope this answers your question. I am looking at the 24, or 28,000mAh solar battery pack to replace the one I have had for years and was a little too rough with packing, it got placed on the bottom of my Rucksack, and, well, You can figure out how it got broken. It is water resistant and dust resistant, so don't be afraid to take it everywhere you go, I hooked it to the back of my pack while hiking to get a good charge and kept it in the sun for the times we were stationary. Charges remarkably quick. The light feature is a bonus. I would suggest this for light to moderate needs.
