• Hello! There are some factors but we typically 50ft to 75ft to be within the range where it will pick up movement.

• In my testing, it randomly picks up movement. I have walked a clear 50 feet from side to side within “Rated” detection range, and straight toward the camera afterwards…and get only one picture of my movement. There is a setting to change how often it’ll take a picture after last recorded movement, but the best description I can use is “Random.”
