I didn’t hardwire mine. My cigarette plug gives constant power in my truck. I believe the hardwire kit plugs into a fuse spot, you could YouTube it and install yourself or pay someone. Once it gets constant power it will record 24/7 in loop mode; just make sure you have the memory cards to support it. . Hope that helps.
