Does the wifi function even work at all fully? null

Yes usually wifi is off by default on camera. You select option from menu to turn ON wifi from Camera and then connect to Wifi . Wifi sign has red line in front of it on display screen. That means wifi is off. But when tou turn on Wifi from camera , red line goes away. After connecting to wifi , you can access all videos from your App. Thanks

I would read the reviews on Google Play for this. As of this writing it has very poor reviews for its functionality. I also ran into issues. Never got it to work.

Hi there! The community's answers are correct but what I may also add is that once you connect your phone to the camera via WiFi, you can also easily share video's to social media or even our dashcam community on the app which regularly uploads videos!

WiFi mode is working when you are synchronizing the dash cam with your phone or smart device. You can use your device to replay or download videos.

I wish I could give you some pointers, but I was unsuccessful after multiple attempts. I t would always say the camera was not connected even though it was. It's pretty useless anyways, get a microsd card reader that connects to your phone and you won't need the app to download files.
