Yes it will work on a PC but you may need a 'breakout' cable to convert the single 3.5mm jack of the headset to the 2 jacks (speaker & mic) that many PC's use. Some laptops have a single 3.5mm jack and will work fine and others withthe same single jack only allow one function to work at a time. You select if you want speaker or mic to work when you plug it in. (Yes, it's the dumbest thing ever) . My Bestbuy has the breakout cable in stock. It does not have a mute button per say but you simply flip the mic up to mute it and back down to resume.
