Hi Bloodshotexe, Did you remove the RIG audio dial sleeve before plugging into the PC port? The RIG 500 PRO HX comes out of the box with XBox controller sleeve in place. That needs to be removed for use with PCs. For PS4 controllers, there is a separate sleeve included in the box. If you need additonal assistance, you can reach RIG Customer Support via email at [email protected]. Thanks...

Applying additional pressure until you hear a “click” is sometimes needed. • Make sure the microphone boom is connected properly to your headset by, first, removing it and, then, reinserting it into the earcup. Make sure the orientation of the base of the boom is correct and the 3.5MM plug is pressed all the way into the connector on the earcup. • Check that the microphone boom tip is facing your mouth and not twisted. Refer to your user guide and product images for proper orientation. • Try using the headset to make a phone call or voice recording on any other device compatible with a 3.5MM corded headset just to be sure it's not a PC issue. • Check the audio settings on your PC and make sure your input or default device is set to headset or external mic. We hope this helps solve your issue. If you need additional assistance, you can reach RIG Customer Support via email at [email protected]. Thank you...
