The headset will automatically shut itself off after being disconnected for any length of time or if it hasn't been moved for a while. It is a battery saving feature. Not sure why it would turn blue but instead of flipping the switch up and holding it just flip it down and take them off. Even if the light is on the headset is probably off. Have you charged them all the way and do you have the selection switch set correctly on the transmitter that is attached via USB to the Xbox or PC? If you just bought them and it seems wrong take them back and trade then for another set. See if it still does the same thing. When I turn mine on the light turns blue first. When I shut them off it turns red but then goes out after a couple seconds.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you slide the power switch up, there should be green showing below the button. The indicator light should turn blue and then turn off. The speaker will say "Power On", "Battery High" (if fully charged), and "Headset Connected" (if your USB adapter is plugged in). If you push and hold the button in the up position, it will put the headset in pairing mode. The headset will say "Pairing" from the speaker and the indicator light will flash blue and red. If your RIG 800LX headset is not behaving this way, and if your headset is under warranty, please contact RIG Customer Support via email at [email protected].
